Student welfare Committee

The student Welfare Committee helps the student’s academic pursuit process to advance their academic as well as personal abilities.

1. SC/ST/OBC Cell

The SC/ST/OBC Cell addresses academic and non-academic issues and complaints of students/Faculty / Staff members from reserved categories. Nimbus Academy of management strives to maintain an environment where all communities can participate in academic and research activities without any sort of discrimination with respect to caste or creed. In order to maintain such an atmosphere, the SC/ST/OBC Cell is responsible for sensitizing the campus community about the importance of having diversity. The cell is where any complaints about discrimination and/or harassment are to be brought up. We encourage victims to feel free to contact authorized person for the same. The cell strives to ensure that anonymity is maintained throughout the investigation.

2. INTERNAL COMPLAIN COMMITTEE

Nimbus Academy of Management's commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for all members is exemplified through the establishment of an Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) in accordance with the POSH Act of 2013 and UGC Regulations of 2015. The ICC serves as a dedicated body to address complaints of sexual harassment, with objectives including receiving and investigating complaints, raising awareness through training programs, ensuring confidentiality, implementing preventive measures, and monitoring compliance. Through its diligent efforts, the ICC plays a pivotal role in upholding the rights and dignity of women employees and students, fostering a culture of safety, respect, and equality within the academy.

3. WOMEN GRIEVANCES CELL

Its responsibilities extend to investigating any acts of misconduct by individuals in authority and addressing complaints filed by both students and staff members. By providing a confidential and empathetic space, the cell plays a vital role in ensuring gender equality and fostering a culture of respect and dignity for all members of the college community.

5. ANTI-RAGGING CELL

The Anti-Ragging Committee at Nimbus Academy of Management is committed to eradicating the menace of ragging and fostering a safe and inclusive campus environment. Its core objective is to uphold the dignity and well-being of every student by strictly enforcing anti-ragging guidelines and regulations. The committee conducts regular monitoring and surveillance to prevent any instances of ragging, promptly investigates complaints, and takes decisive action against perpetrators. Additionally, it organizes orientation programs and workshops to educate students about the detrimental effects of ragging and encourages a culture of mutual respect and camaraderie. By promoting a zero-tolerance approach to ragging, the Anti-Ragging Committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every student can pursue their academic goals without fear or harassment.
